When anyone from my family hears the word “tiramisu”, they think of a feast. I learned how to make it as I was helping my mother this weekend in the preparation for a gathering at our house. I could not believe how easy is to make a tiramisu. Just as easy as when you enjoy it.
6 egg yolks
200 g sugar
1 lb mascarpone cheese
250 mL heavy cream
2 cups of strong coffee (espresso), cooled (I used Lavazza)
5-6 drops of rum extract
unsweetened cocoa powder (my favorite is Hershey’s)
